CSA Week 6
Yes! We’re finally here! We made it to that place in the summer where my box isn’t filled with only lettuce!
I picked up my box and it was heavy. Heavy! That meant there were ACTUAL veggies in there! When I opened it up I was pleasantly surprised… no, “thrilled beyond belief” is more accurate.
- Zucchini!
- Yellow squash!
- Swiss chard!
- Garlic scapes!!
- Snap peas!
- Green onions (old news)
- Red and green Boston lettuce (whatever)
THIS was an interesting box of produce! I mean, I don’t even know what a garlic scape is but I am excited to figure it out!
I rushed home and cooked the day away… that post will come next.
